    i had my arm rest reupholster because there isn't enough padding on there , had it done in black leather and had the patch sewed on, now theirs plenty of padding in there now.

    the stock padding just pulls off the lid, kinda fits on like a sock.
    so here is plan B. install a black piano hinge across the gap below. the mounting parts of the hinge attach down against the cup holder and the back side of the lid. only the hinge edge will show and basically fill the crack (2nd pic). going to mull that over for a while.pic1.jpg Pic2.jpg
