Center console mods

Since the roads around here seem to have potholes every 5 feet and what not my whole cab shakes which makes my console rock from left to right which rattles everything inside. Hoping this makes some difference, from what I can tell so far it has a little. About $1.80/ft for this carpet style at Lowe’s. I’m also trying to find those little cup holder flaps that’ll keep my RedBull from toppling over around every turn lol. The Toyota recycling center here doesn’t want to separate them from a console that they can sell which I guess I can see why. Thinking how I can make some myself while I’m unemployed during Tacoma Virus. Open to other mods as well. How’s everyone doing?

Sucks there's nothing like this for a 1st Gen Taco but I've been digging this setup



Extends back to a locking console

 

I can't tell from your pic, but if you still have the original tabs in there, you can use them to trace out new ones. I cut mine out of an old mousepad and they are working great!
