Should not be a problem in the heat. Most of your interior is plastic of one type or another. These are made frome HDPE (high density polyethylene). Basically the same material as a plastic gas can.

This will hold 8 beers, with plenty of ice it will stay cool! :)

People have asked about clear and other colors. I'm selling about 50+ kits a week. My supplier buys 4x8 sheets of black plastic which makes a lot of parts. Other colors would be a special order and higher cost. For now I'll have to pull a Henery Ford - "You can have any color as long as it's black."

On the Highlander a picture would be great. I wonder if it's simple or a lot of corners and auxillary plugs to design around.

I was one of the original five but have been out of state. Review: Perfect fit. Excellent craftsmanship. Would like a clear or gray option. I believe it would help "lighten" it up inside the dark space. Definitely helps organize the clutter in the console. Keep up the good work! Worth the price!

6/2/12 - This week I am going to sell via TW. EBAY is convenient but pricey as we all know. I have parts available. If you are interested PM me with your email address. I will send you a PayPal invoice to pay and ship. Still $20 including tax and shipping!

    VERY fast shipping.

this is a simple product, however I think it will end up being the best $20 spent for the truck.

PS my wife wants to know if you're going to branch out to other Toyotas?

Salex, I was able to take some photos of my wife's 2010 Highlander yesterday. I also took some measurements. Hopefully, I can explain the measurements where you can understand them!

First off, the console box is not exactly square. It does taper in as you go from back to front (and when I say "front", I'm implying the part of the box that is facing the front of the car and "back" is toward the back seats.).

Also, there is a lip on the top of the box but just on the sides. I don't think this is an issue at all but thought I should point it out.

Inside the box, there are three tiers; one on each side and one in the back.

Here are the shots, measurements are below:

    console1_0a8fa492d99f9f538c3f6617ebd271edd9650c5f.jpg

    console2_d5d3afdf0f1700277e3f9b2af11c796d07786b26.jpg

    console3_a68c5b160157cca559b5747ba258e1885c139196.jpg

The actual floor of the box is even from front to back. The tapering occurs above the tiers on each side. The last photo illustrates this best.

The floor of the box measures 7 15/16" long (front to back) and 5 7/8" (side to side).

Regarding the area above the tiers on the sides, the front (above the tier) is 7" and the back (above the tier) is 7 1/2". These measurements are from passenger side to driver's side.

The sides rise up 3" from the floor of the box before going back to create the tiers.

In the area above the tier in the back, measuring from the front of the box to the back is 8 5/8".

The back rises up 4 7/8" from the floor of the box before going back to create the tier.

My thoughts are that since this box is so deep, I probably would not make your divider rise above the tier in the back of the box. Others may feel different.

Salex, I forgot to say that I would be happy to be a tester for the Highlander series should you decide to proceed with them.

In fact, you could produce one and I could see if it fits and sand it down until it does and send it back to you for measurement adjustments to your template.
