Center console swap?

    Hi, so I've read thru posts but haven't found a clear answer. I have a 2011 regular cab manual trans that did have a bench seat. I've already swapped out the bench for a set of buckets from an FJ cruiser and want to change the center console to a full length. I know the "top plate" around the gear shift is different but I'm wondering if that could be swapped so a console from an automatic would fit? Thanks
