So I was at work (4 Wheel Parts), and trying to think of how to make a switch mount for the center console out of one of these for a while after selling a ton of them to the Jeep guys...
    20151231_161500_zpsdif1dezf_119b3b947fd3dc8924b8230bcfc7edf94561bc0f.jpg

I decided to take some measurements, and basicaly make a template out of one.. Started with the switch area, then the base..

Test fit to to see how it would fit where I wanted it..

And it worked, so with some more measurement I decided to cut it down..
    20151231_162540_zpsvlrxq2jg_440659a1a8674ce1cdd953df08de5e6e151922ec.jpg

Then there were some pesky tabs in the way on the bottom, so those had to go.

Then became the nerve wrecking part. With some time and patience as long with some help from a heat gun and cut off wheel, I made the sides..
    20151231_164024_zpsbtiho7an_938058a3ca6ee93b81d9740d21b22299d4c9b1a1.jpg

    First of many test fits..
    20151231_165740_zpsgerqio4j_5b59c1bc64f1c22558077cbdc132d93e0404c06b.jpg

And after continuous play with the heat gun, trimming off the back tab, and cutting some of the side tab in the front area out, here's what I left with...
    20151231_183308_zps5olupk5f_0885bbe2ebe447f7cc2bd08e7ed73863fe7da877.jpg

Now I just need to put some Velcro on the sides, so I can attach it yet make it easy to remove if needed.. It's either that or put a whole in the side of each tab and a matching hole in the side of that cubby and use a plastic christmas tree to hold them together..

I plan on getting some lights for the front and rear, so I will be using all of those 5 spots. I will be using switches from OTRATTW.com of course.

    1) Rigid Fog Lights in Bumper
    2) Rigid Lights off hood mount
    3) Hood Lights in scoop
    4) Bed Lights
    5) Rigid Flush Lights in rear bumper for reverse..

Just need to do all those things first....

The 4 switch locations above will go as follow:
    1) Air Compressor
    2) Train Horn (possibly...)
    3) USB/Audio (as it is now)
    4) ?

I will be buying 2 Heated Seat Switches from OTRATTW.com and putting them in the center console left of the cup holder behind the shifter.

As I get switches, I will post more pictures..

Looks pretty good you are going to have a lot of money going into lights.i went with Opt7 because of the price of rigid so they are really bright,I mounted then stealth style ,I am waiting for the BAMF Bracket I ordered and will be placing another one image.jpg

I want quality. I invested enough into the truck, I'm not going to cheap out in the lights. I've seen/heard enough horror stories from customers of cheap lights failing, leaking, sparking and smoking from customers. Plus I stay loyal to one of the brands we carry. I could always go cheap and run Trailmaster or K/C but like Rigid better.

Looks good and cool idea! I think the real question here is did you win anything on that scratch and win in the cubby? :D

Finally made some progress and bought some Contura XIV switches from OTRATTW.com Now just to get to wiring my fuse/relay center. I am probably putting a manual paddle air valve in middle for towing bags eventually.
