No, you have it installed correctly. That's damn peculiar. Will have to wait for OP to chime in.

UPDATE: I just went out and checked mine again, and by Gumby mine get's stuck too. Every time it opens I can tell it rubs just a bit but it does open, and then about every 5th time it gets stuck halfway like yours. Not a big deal to me but sounds like your tolerances are just smaller enough to cause it to happen every time for you. I imagine mine will wear down after a few uses and run smoother.

Mine hangs up to, I was thinking it was my wet Okole console cover but once removed it still hangs up a bit. I'm just going to sand down that backside on the tray some and see if that helps.

Cost and simplicity. The notches are there to be able to spread the dividers far enough to put CDs in the middle. I know what you are going to say...CDs in 2017???

That looks like it is installed correctly as long as it is resting on the rim of the console. Does it take much effort to open the rest of the way?

No it doesnt take too much to push it open. I'm sure a couple passes with some sand paper will do the trick.

Mine is here. A little trouble putting in the divider, did not want to seat all the way, the top wasn't smooth. Took it out and assembled outside, one of the supports seemed to fit better in the rear so take apart, noted which one went where and reassembled and it sits in just fine. Not sure I understand the square cutouts. I just put all the tiny stuff on the drivers side so they don't slide around and get lost.

Now the tray was something else. I love the rubber matting, things don't slip when you grab them. Did not seem to work as I expected, did not slide like I thought it should, seems to shift and hang, not fitting well at all. Then dlawrence529 posted his pictures. Darn, I had it way too low and not sitting on the right spots, I see how it fits now and could not be happier. I could be, but that's because I put the things away and SHE did not get to give any input. I figure when she gets to detail the inside tomorrow things will change.

Will give all star review, thanks for making these.

Edit - checked the hang, once in 15 tries it came up half way.

Edit 2 - Two 5 star reviews and might be the first to review the tray....

We washed and detailed the truck this morning. She finally got to see it. At first she was "didn't get to add input" sort of sad face but by the time she was through with the inside and looking at it, thought it was one of the best things we could buy for organizing the clutter. So thanks again for something I didn't know existed but that I really needed.
