    I'd like to be able to mount my phone and have it be able to charge.

    @SalmonTaco PM Sent!

    @KCEllwood @JD'STaco @Naveronski @voz Awesome to get feedback like this, glad you guys are digging it!

    @Plain Jane Taco Thanks for the props dude.

    @TakeNoteS I'm on it man

    @Gaunt596 Thanks for the feedback, good to know that a strip of double sided tape is all that is needed to alleviate issues with larger/heavier phones (I was wondering when this would come into paly). It's solid once you applied a bit of tape though correct?

    @trdsport6 You should get one eh??

    @SilverJack We can definitely get you one modeled up if you're interested.

    @calico You'll be able to dock/undock the phone while the charging cord is attached so shouldn't be any issues with charging compatibility!

    @jps0727 I think I will go to the store and measure one of these cases myself, I've had a few requests for the basic apple silicone cases.

    Thanks for all the feedback and especially thanks to those that picked one up for themselves, pretty awesome to see the docks popping up in other peoples rigs.

    Yes, I understand that, but I want to figure out some way to incorporate a charging port into the mount so that all I have to do is put my phone in the mount and it rests on that charging port, without having to first connect my charging cable to the phone and then mounting it. Hope this makes sense.

    Haha yup, my bad. Makes perfect sense. I was also playing around with this option. Have a mount with integrated charging port that you would just plug into a cigarette outlet.

    Mine was delivered yesterday. All I can say is this thing is as awesome as a phone holder can be. The snugness of the holder in the console and the phone in the holder is top notch. It's situated in a perfect spot to see no matter where the gear shift is located. Other than my Rackbone mount for my AR, this is the best interior mod I've done. Kudos to T MAC.

    @Blain @agasses Pretty gratifying to get comments like these, glad you're digging the docks gentlemen! @Blain That's especially awesome, I spent some time with the position and angle in relation to all gear shift positions, and probably looked like a weirdo in the process - driving around at different "heights" to make sure I wasn't completely bias to myself (6'1) in design. So thanks again dude, pumped it will suit you well.

    @wedgemoose Yours is being born right now

    Hey, that's my height too. So the holder will be custom to my height, truck and phone. Sweeet!

    Just received mine today - a really snug fit for the phone, and preferable to a loose fit. Thanks T MAC. The in-truck fit is perfect. I'll determine tomorrow if viewing angle is gonna be okay.

    I have a Mountek that I previously modded to accept a ProClip charging port and it looks like I might be able to cut off that portion of the Mountek to which the ProClip charging port is attached and, possibly, super glue it to the phone dock. We'll see. When I get to it I'll try and remember to take pics and post.

    Man those Proclip Charging Holders go for $90. I'd probably offer the integrated charging setup (same deal, charging cord to 12v power outlet) for about 1/2 that! Looks like some more inspiration to finish up the integrated charging dock.

    Yes, they are expensive, but I've had it for some years and cut off the charging port to mount to a Mountek when I wanted to move the phone up higher to view better. Now, I'll cut off the charging port and figure out some way to attach it to this dock so that every time I mount my phone, it'll automatically charge as well.

    Great product you've created.

    I'm interested for a Nexus 6P with a Spigen Rugged Armor case. Can get exact dimensions tomorrow if you need.

    Sorry I didn't read through all the pages, but did you ever do a RAM mount compatible version? That's what I thought as soon as I read your original post, them found somebody else bring it up!

    Another idea for the charging is to somehow mount in a wireless Qi charger in the back. I think most new phones come with wireless charging built in now days

    PS. Regardless, I'm pretty interested. I have a galaxy s7, but my case changes according to my mood/activity which is why I'm interested in the RAM version

    LOL, yeah that's their home. I was hoping the phone holder would not take up all the space, but it actually holds my glasses better. Perfect design!

    Cool looking product you have there T MAC! I didn't scour all of the pages - are you making these to fit a Droid Turbo (with a diztronic case)? Also, how badly do these impair the drink holder?

    True there are a lot of drink holders! I tend to use those back ones for drinks the most. I've been using the single one closest to the armrest for the phone ever since I bought the truck.
