When its cold i would have a rattle/ creak in the center of the dash next to the window when i hit any bump, even a street reflector made the noise. I was messing around with the dash and found if i pulled up on the lip of the dash at the instrument cluster it would make the exact noise.

I cut a small piece of rubber 3/4" wide triangle and wedged it in between the glass and the dash in the center, i pushed it in so it was not visible and did not make a crease in the dash. After a few tries i got it dialed in.

No more noise! (from that location)

Oh, I just love American made Toyotas! I've got the same fix...it's a chunk of cardboard.
