Noticed this a while back. Not sure of which models have it exactly, but my 2017 limited 4x4 doesn't. I was wondering if anyone knows of any way to add the pitch and roll gauge to the display? I think it'd be a cool feature to add if its possible, and of coarse if its not too much trouble/money. Any info would be appreciated.

I had an analog one in my 73 CJ5. They probably still make them. My 17 OR has it.

My 16 OR has it also, there’s a warning if you’re accessing it while driving that you have to hit the back arrow button to dismiss.

Might be just a OR package and higher feature since it would need additional hardware for the measurements.

Little this. Little that 4x4 Swap’d PreRunner
    I believe it’s a TRD package perk.

But I don’t have a 3rd Gen. Hopefully others will chime in.

On the OR, it's the same screen as your tire pressure. Then scroll up or down to see it. there's a dumb lawyer screen you need to wait through.

It's Off Road and Pro only.

I have used it once. Was watching it whole going through a wash out on the side of a 200 foot cliff. I was going to stop if it hit 30 degrees. It got to 25 and I just kept going.

That's the only time it's been useful

My 17 OR has it. Very useful for leveling truck at camp spots for RTT camping as well as watching roll angles on sketchy trail sections.

I've seen it listed in the brochure as an TRD OR feature, but have wondered what it would take to add it to other trims, like the Sport. You know.....for mall crawling. Still a cool feature.

My '17 OR has it. I've used on steep/sketch trail conditions, pretty cool that it's integrated.

I believe it’s OR & Pro only. Maybe find the 3 gague cluster from an FJ and mount it somewhere?

Looking at the service manual, in the combination meter section it probably comes in through the CAN bus. There's something called the "Network Gateway ECU", which appears to be the hub for the CAN bus, probably programmed in there along with other programmable features.

Useless compass, it goes crazy when driving, the degrees of inclination seems ok, can’t tell for sure.
I would install the OEM if there was a way!

As a Florida resident the only thing that would get used less would be heated seats.

You can always buy a cheap inclinometer and stick it on the dash somewhere.

Old thread so you probably don’t care anymore but according to my dealer it is not something that you can add and it’s only available on OR and PRO models.
