    Have you done any on our trucks? I'm confident I can, but is is possible to do without a press? I have done wheel bearings on all kinds of vehicles with drift pins, sockets and a mallet, but none on our truck.

    I bruise too easy, but after a few beers, I become invincible.

    I've done plenty of wheel bearings, and these are not much different than a Civic. A press makes things so much easier.

    No garage, don't need no stinking garage. I'm off from Oct. 16th-21st, except for 17th I have a Trig class in the evening.

    Or some red neck engineering.

    We could do wheel bearings at your Dads, or at my place, drop em off at DeCordre and pound a couple beers while we wait, or I could borrow my press from work.

    Don't know if they are open saturday, there are plenty of other places that could do it, but I could probably just borrow the press from work and call it good. Saturday morning sounds good.

    Only tool I don't have is a Torque wrench that will get the axle nut to 173ftlbs. My torque wrench only goes to 150ftlbs.

    I think the 20th would work for me. If we have access to a shop it would be much more comfortable and simpler. I will drive down atta-way if one of you has a place to do it and a press. I wish my friend still worked for conicelli Toyota....oh the perks I used to have.

    I'm sure someone will flame me for this... but I have NEVER used a torque wrench on anything. If I was able to get the axle nut off with my arms, I feel I can put damn near enough torque back on it again for reinstall. And never had anything come loose in all these years.
