Yeah, just hard to keep up with it all between working on them, and the other stuff I am working on. I am currently putting a heater core into New Matts' Dad's F-150.

If the cost is too high, look online. They have some pretty good 12V electric heaters that will warm a truck cab up pretty fast.

hmmm. havn't thought about that. had one for an 89 maxima but it took FOREVER to heat that car up. I mean like by the time i was getting to school, which was a good 20 minute drive, it was just barely warming the car up. lol

The cab size between a Maxima and a Tacoma is pretty big. Also you can do what I used to do, and that is start the truck up, then go back inside until engine has warmed up a bit. My Tacoma only takes about 5 minutes before the heater is able to blow reasonably hot.

On a side note, those who are religious, please shoot some prayers in the direction of my mom. She had a seizure on Sunday morning and is in the hospital undergoing tests. At 73 years of age, we are a bit concerned due to her Parkinsons, and other medical problems.

    thanks!

I appreciate it. the shop is fine right now. I am working to keep my mind off things for now. They decided not to do the MRI, and instead did an ultrasound on her in several areas. they will be putting her on a heart monitor for the rest of the night.

I always start my vehicles 5-10 minutes before I leave my house, depending on how cold it is I sometimes do it 15 minutes to make sure it's nice and toasty.
When I get to work I pull my truck out of the garage and let it run for 20 minutes before I leave. It's got the diesel in it!

Update on my mom. She had a transfusion to help with her dangerously low potassium levels. All the other tests are showing negative, and they think she may have had a reaction to the numerous drugs that she has been on (With all her medical history, she takes dang near a pharmacy each day) They have weaned her off the pain medication and are looking at a new regimen of pain medication that hopefully won't cause a reaction. If the lab results come back showing good this morning, they plan on releasing her this afternoon. Thanks for everyone's prayers.

YAY! Mom is home and doing better. Still has a lot of pain, but hopefully that will go away. The ultrasound showed that she has a 40% reduction in flow of her carotoid artery, so she has to go for a follow up to find the cause, and see what needs to be done. Thanks again for all the prayers.

Dave, the last bearing should be arriving today. It has been a learning experience to find the right ones, but I think we should be fine now. Hopefully (If the bearing DOES arrive today) I should have the rear diff built by this weekend, and the exhaust work will be completed by Monday. We should have your truck ready for pickup next week!

Random question. Anyone know where to buy the Coors Light Home Draft in the Montgomery / Prattville area?

    :(

I'll likely be attending anything after my truck is done. I'm itching for some wheeling.

With the issues on my truck being unresolved as of yet, I might have to just bum a ride after we get this bad bitch of yours rolling. Have you named her yet?
