In central AR now at a hotel getting a nice rest and clean up before actual HWM Trail. Hit SMORR, BYRD'S and several forest service roads with 8 creek crossing on the way here. So far no issues with steering column seal. However, my floating partner and I spent more time in the river next to our upside down canoe than in it right side up during a half day float. We have never laughed so much!

    Hey all,

If anyone wants to just meet up and have lunch again I can go any day around 11-12 (noonish). If you guys want to plan another fishing/shooting day the next weekend I have off is August 6-7 (sucks) but hopefully my schedule will change in July and I'll have more days off.

It might be the wrong weekend to go camping/kayaking since it's suppose to be in the upper 90s but the truck and trailer are both ready. Head out in the morning. Wish me luck! Hahaimage.jpgimage.jpg

I've always liked bed lined vehicles so it has that going for it. Other than that the rims seem big for an "offroad" vehicle but if the owner likes it then thats what matters.

In other news i saw another tacoma with the cummins tow mirrors today on merle hay:D

Thats awesome man. I'd love to someday get a jet-ski. Maybe a Ski boat too. :)

I couldnt imagine summer without them. If we end up on the dsm river i could have the boat or jet ski out.

I have never fished on the Des Moines river so I have no idea where to suggest for fishing/water sports combo on the river. We could meet at Saylorville for fishing, picnic, and maybe water sports. Maybe Cherry Glen?
