Hey all you central Pa TW guys & girls! I am a member of TW and www.bigrubbers4x4.org Windber, Pa. Here in Windber, Pa we have lots of events throughout the year and they are all for charity. We are a state recognized Non-Profit 4x4 Group. We raised money to buy local Volunteer Fire Dept 2-5000 watt genorators, hold events like our Fall Crawl to buy 120 Turkeys for the food pantry, Toys for Tots with the local Marines (Who bring Hummers!) for toys for the kids and many other events to help many others. Even helped our local police raise toys for them to give to families in need at Christmas. The local gov asked our groups to drive in a parade and we passed out candy from our vehicles. It was great! Anyway, if anyone out here is interested in coming out for our 2010 Toys for Tots event, please post up and contact myself or someone on our website. It would be nice to see some more Toyota's out here. Think we might have 3 toyotas in the group. Thank you, Rich Beauregard (814) 535-1899

    Hi Everyone,
Again this year we are working with the Marines to bring toys & gifts back to Windber. We will be helping the Windber Police Christmas Party with gifts. Last year, with the help of the Marines we delivered 340 gifts for 170 kids, we got the word late, as they were canceling the party due to lack of donations, then we went to work and were able to make this happen. This year we have a jump on it and are working to provide gifts for 200 kids this year. The need has risen from 200 to nearly 270 kids this year. They have gifts for the kids ages 3 thru 8 so we are asking those who attend our T4T trail ride or just wish to make a donation here is the breakdown on the gifts and ages that are needed this year:

Birth thru 2, we have 50 kids in this age group, so we need/goal 30% girls, 30% boys & 40% that could work for either.
    age 9 thru 12 - 70 kids - 50% girls, 50% boys
    age 13 thru 16- 60 kids - 50% girls, 50% boys
    age 17 & 18 - 20 kids - 50% girls, 50% boys

for the older kids the gift could he a hair dryer for a girl, a grooming set for a boy, video games, age appropriate type gifts.
    ABSOLUTELY NO STUFFED ANIMALS.
This year has seen a huge rise in the need for items for the Holiday Season. 4 days before this trail ride we will be delivering 120 Turkeys to the local Food Pantry in time for Thanksgiving, up from 92 last year. So PLEASE be as generous as you can for this Worthy Charity.

    Thank You
