So it’s just the way I drive, I rest my elbow on the centre console for support.
I developed this habit from my old ford and when I sold that truck it literally had a hole worn out of the cover from my boney elbow.
The new Tacoma cover felt like resting it on a cinder block.
So I decided to remove the cover as you can see by the picture there might be 1/4 of foam under it.

So I decided to give these guys a try
    https://www.redlinegoods.com/landin...MI_-W1z5-c5QIVsx-tBh2EvgogEAMYAyAAEgLz0vD_BwE

It was a little harder to install than expected but I think it turned out good and it comes with foam that’s a whole lot thicker
I went with the 6/8 of an inch and it’s perfect for me but they do offer the 1 1/8” option also

I would not advise doing this mod if your not comfortable working with spray glue
I have redone enough dirt bike seat covers in my life which does not require spray glue and this was one step harder.

How the product is sent to you.

    Glued to the existing armrest.

    Finished product install.

I should add I still have the factory cover
The new cover gets glued to the plastic sides of the console.
When this one stops looking good I can easily remove and reinstall the factory one as it has no glue holding it on.

I have the same issue. My Jeep was comfy. This my elbow gets a pressure point pain since there’s no padding. Looks good

Are those seat covers you have or just the OEM leather seats? The seats look nice as well! Thanks for sharing.
