Century Ultra Cap for sale **PLEASE TAKE DOWN. NFS ANYMORE

After toying with the thought for several months, I am looking to sell my Truck Cap. I bought a 2008 double cab Tacoma in Dec and it came with the cap on it. I debated on keeping it but I just don’t need it for what I use my truck for. I can’t take it off because I have nowhere to store it. If you buy it you will be meeting me and I can assist you in taking it or putting it on. I can also deliver if you are not too far away or for a little extra. I am located in Tri-cities, WA

The Cap

Color: Radiant Red – Dupont automotive paint

Brand: Century Ultra Sport. I talked to the guys from Campways. They said it is the same thing as a Leer, just different badges.

Interior and exterior are both in EXCELLENT condition. Sticker is on the truck window, not cap window. With the options it comes with I was quoted $2,300 new. This one is obviously pre-owned but LIKE NEW. It has been VERY well taken care of. I am looking to get $1,200 for it in the condition it is in. I am just testing the waters to get a feel for the demand as I do not see many up for sale in this condition/color/size. Any thoughts or questions are welcome.

 

Century is like the Cadillac of toppers. $1100 is low for those options and condition (that's the fully loaded version).

Honestly, if i were you, id keep it for the academy. Storing anything in the back is always really nice

 

Definitely. Ask for $1800, accept no lower than $1200, aim for $1400~$1600.

And yeah, Catfish is right- it's always nice to be able to hide things in the back.

My 2 cents from having a cap and 12yrs as first responder. The cap is good to have for holding all your call out gear and extra uniforms you can't fit in the locker room. Plus tools, recovery gear, and jump pack.

Good luck in the academy, don't give up for anything.

 

I thought LEER was the cadillac of bed caps? anyways why does it seem to have a spot for a LEER logo in the lower rear area? Im new to the topper scene so i apologize in advance.

 

Honestly i dont know anything about caps. This just came on my truck and if it wasnt for the tag still on it i wouldnt even know what it was because it doesnt have any badges on it at all. Which i didnt understand either.
