Has anyone had success keeping their king's from corroding with ceramic coat and PPF(paint protection film)?

I dont see much online about it, or reports whether or not its working.

My thoughts/plans right now on a brand new set are to:

    1. ceramic coat everything except the shafts

    2. I ordered some 3M PPF and will wrap the rear shock bodies, rear reservoirs and front reservoirs.

    3. likely clean and re-ceramic coat during rebuilds.

Looking to see if that stopped the corrosion on these, especially with people who use them in the winter.

    Thanks!

I have now just decided to go with only the boeshield t9, to simplify things. I didnt know if the boeshield would loosen the adhesive on the PPF, which is why I just decided to go without it. Ill probably regret that later, but I will be sure to report back after next winter!
