This is what the truck looks like today

My truck is a 2000 Toyota PreRunner Reg cab 4 cyl. Bought it brand new and the basics which was all I was willing to pay for at the time. Only mod for years was a Raven Cap to haul my dogs around in.

This is what it looked like pre-mods.

Early 2008 I started thinking about getting another vehicle (and a car payment). The more I looked the more I thought about what I would do with my PreRunner. Really couldn't imagine it with another driver. Screw it. I'm keeping it....and MODDING IT!

I always took really good care of it but the interior was looking a little worn. I knew a guys who did some interior work for my dad so I went an talked to him. Leather seats with new padding and spring repair, new carpet, dash refurb. Cost me $550. Pretty good I think.

Joined TacomaWorld and the mod bug really caught.

Ordered an OME kit with 882s/N91S and Dakars and an ARB bumper. Had fun doing the install and it took about a day to assemble all.

After the lift my tires and wheels just didn't look quite right anymore. Time to upgrade those too. I new I wanted black rims but was undecided on size. Decided on 15s so that I could have more rubber between the rim and the ground. The BFG KM2s looked good so I said what the hell. Went with 33x12.5s and love the look.

The truck after the lift, the tires and the alignment wondered on the road a bit. The caster just wasn't quite right and the ball joints looked a little stressed. Bought and installed some Camburg UCAs and after a quick install, I took it back to the alignment shop. 3 degrees Caster..Yeah! Drives great now.

The ARB bumper looked bare and the 882s needed some weight. Installed IPF 968s and Smittybilt 8k winch.

I was happy with the exterior for now and wanted to focus on the bed of the truck. It has seen years of hard use and was needing some tlc and some storage. Found a BedRug on ebay and decided this was the way to go for me. Perfect for the dogs!

Pulled an old tool box out I've had laying around gave it a coat of paint. Loads of storage now.

Next up is the 4x4 conversion. I've committed myself to this. Found most all the parts to start. Maybe start late next week. Can't wait to be a Post-PreRunner..
