Been looking everywhere just now for my Lil hacksaw.....no luck. Not a clue where it is.

Going to have to enlist my neighbor for tool purposes yet again.

He's awesome, straight up south austin old timer. Always ALWAYS has a whiskey in his hand and a smoke in his kisser.

Should be cool then. Try and cut straight and level, clean the edges with a file for extra points, but if the nut threads on then you're made.

I'm just going to thread the nut and washer down to 'size' before the cut.

That way it's on there regardless

Im easing myself into things. I can only handle so much money spending at a time and Chad's thread and the patch thread keep my bank account plenty empty.

.. but what if you take the nut off to put the hold down on and the nut doesn't come off because the cut end is dickered..

Gotta get you on the rotation...

Truck, Guns, Ink, Savings account, best way I've found to get things done lately.. Though Guns may be removed for a bit, time to buy a house.

God, our spending habits sound exactly the same. Cooling it on the guns this year in favor of truck. Ink'll happen soon, I'm sure. House relatively soon. Fuck all my expensive hobbies and living requirements.

She's all rigged up and ready. Going to remove the OEM clamp and hooks.

Seat in my new one and see how much I can take each one down.

The hook closet to the driver's side will need more trimming because the actual hole the hook goes into sits higher.
