    I've done a mod or two
    This is tempting even though I don't think I have any need for it. I run 194 at the hottest and I touched 197-203 in 112 degree weather with the AC on in stop and go, but that might not be normal as I forgot to fill my burp tank after I filled the rad last time so it was a wee bit low. Went right back to 186 on the highway either way though

Replaced stock radio with a Pioneer AVH series head unit. Focal component system w/a 10" sub powered by 2 Alpine amps. Weathertech floor mats. Line-X'd the bed. SCS Ray 10’s, Installed an A.R.E. MX series camper shell. All-Pro Apex front bumper w/ All-Pro skid plates all the way back to the Trans. Low Range fuel skid plate.
    I got to Louisiana. A 12 hour ride. She kept at 186.6*-190* cool as a cucumber! :broccoli:

    This has to be up there as one of my best upgrades for the dollar.
    It’s 97 degress outside and the engine is as cool as a cucumber pushing 186°-188°
    with AC on full at 75 mph with a 185 stat. What more could anyone ask for.

    Well looks like these are all sold out for now, geee I wonder why, :), none on eBay and the company says out of stock.
    I just talked to the guy and Will not have any more for 3 months,
    There is one left in the back George says.
    So if you need one now call ASAP or wait 3 more months.

    The two top white buttons on either side just keep pressing till the engine temp shows, that’s all very easy
    You can pick engine temp as one and intake temp as another on one of the 4 buttons

    You DONT need to down load anything for temps

    Installed my radiator today, Only thing missing is the fan shroud. Took the truck out today and it ran 200-206 (without fan shroud). Out side temp was 83f. Not sure what temp truck ran at before. I’m guessing temp will drop down once shroud is installed.
    One thing I do want to mention during the install I had to get a driffrent lower hose. This was because my truck is auto and the champ radiator is smaller (more like the manual). I had a hard time finding the correct hose to fit. Finally I found that the 85 4runner manual transmission hose was the one I needed. Well here are some pics Incase anyone has same issue.

    Mmm the Gates 22120 model hose should have worked with a few cuts for trimming.
    Stock lower hose will not work

    Mine is the Tacoma radiator NOT the 4Runner model,
    The 4Runner model might fit the 2001-2004 tacoma as the hood is different,
    Will NOT fit the 96-2000 hood style.
    But will take more to install it, it’s a lot taller and will need a auto skid plate and the auto shroud too I believe as the radiator will hang down more.

    Here is a pic of the hose at the bottom of the radiator. It’s a little wet from earlier when I opened up the radiator cap. Still looking for the radiator shroud.
