Im so gassed from going to school for like 15+ years straight man. I'd rather just get on the workforce train and get the money flowing in.

Sub'd. Hopefully I can get my DCSB looking similar to yours in the future. Good to see someone else from SC wanting to take their Taco in the overlanding direction.

Nah, I haven't really been on TW in a few years or so. I just started up again to try and get ideas and research for the overland setup I'm trying to build after graduation. I'll have to drop in on the SC thread for sure.

BTW just took a peek at your build page and saw your Scout, pretty sweet ride. I love the Scouts and Bronco II's

Thanks! Check into the South Carolina BS thread. We have a huge group in the Charleston area and plenty of overlanders

No prob! Yeah, I just dropped a note off in it just to not be a lurker/stranger. Good to know there are some overlanders in the area, I figured we wouldn't have that many...guess I was wrong haha.

    Hola everyone!

    Some updates

-The truck IS running lol, i work 80-90 hours a week now so it doesnt get much runtime and mods/trips are on stanby till i get some time off.. which will be around december hopefully (this adult thing aint what it's cracked up to be lol)

-I still have my Bussmann fuse box i need to install, being lazy because i think i wanna run a dual battery setup and just be done with the electrical setup and tie things together neatly

-Paying credit cards/student loans are fun. Said no one.

-I wanna run an ipad mini 2/3/4 with an upgraded sound system around december so any suggestions on audio would be good.

-I work 5pm-8am so TW is quickly becoming a luxury, i miss this place

-Need to get my truck professionally detailed... Any Cola/Chucktown/Upstate folks got anyone they swear on? I want it done right.

well finally got off after working about 100hours this week, went to check out the fridge to make sure it still ran(pretty hefty investment), and it wasnt, the battery that ive been using hooked up to the battery box isnt charged and the 50$ 20w Amazon solar panel connections to the charge controller have been corroded from weather i guess.

    Fuck it.

I figure i got two options now

Get one massive battery to tie into the fuse box and run my Fridge, seat heaters, and potentially 2 more aux lights should i decide to add them on the front bumper OR

Run 2 smaller batteries, but that gets a little tricky and i dont think i reeally need two batteries, i'll prob be running a winch eventually so maybe the one Bigger battery can handle it.

Regardless, i'll hook it up to the bussman fuse box and clean up the wiring..

What say ya'll? Im thinking one big battery should be fine for simplicity's sake, but running 2 batteries + 100w solar panel would be pretty sweet as well when i do get time to get back out camping/traveling..

    Input?
