It'll do. Really it comes down to will it be enough power when the sun is down for what you are trying to run.

Based on what this site is saying and using super conservative efficiency numbers (~70%) im good with what ive got.
Fridge only uses 50watts on average

 

@Acerwin Here ya go bud, everything ya can see for the build is here.. You need a solid piece of plywood, 4 d-rings, about 16 or so bolts/nuts and a fridge of course

So waht were you saying about your battery being dead and solar not keeping up?

 

Im running a 20W solar panel.. lol the recommendation is at least 70 or better.. It cant keep up

Yea, This says your battery is good but you need more solar panel, son

 

Yeah ive got the 20W i was gonna buy a 100w and then just tie the two together and be done with it

 

haha or more like this if you are gonna be parked and not running your truck/driving during the day.

 

yeah hahaha the fridge is pretty good about not running if it's not being opened constantly once it reaches temp.

I'll prob end up getting a cover for it too to help insulation

Is the system i'll switch to.. These connections are all plug and play and waterproof, unlike the one im running where the wires are exposed and water can get into it
