Chance of putting 4 cyl motor on a gear box out of the 6 cyl?

Good afternoon new member here from the Bahamas. Owned a1st gen now for 10 years chassis problems. Truck is a tacoma 2000 TRD that has a 4cyl 2.7 motor.
Recently got another frame for that motor. Is a 1998 tacoma that has a 6 cyl motor is 4 wheel drive model with gear box. Figured out motor swap no problem. Question for anyone out there that's has experience with these trucks. Chance of putting that 4cyl motor on a gear box out of the 6 cyl. Is it any way possible????

 

Your biggest problem is you would need ecm, the double twin coil packs, and engine harness for a 98 3rz trans specific..........

Worst case is motor mounts maybe off an inch.......not a deal killer.....but may be a head scatcher......


dont know of any one taking a coil-over plug engine head.....and converting to plug wires?????

 

Will that gear box bolt up to that motor

 

Need more info. Is this manual or auto? If both are 4x4 and manual, the the four cyl with be a W59. The v6 had the R150F.

Reading that you could find this belle housing on likeca 2005 4 cyl that will work. Any ideas
