Cool, I'll be keeping an eye open for the sale. The Go Fast looks like a very cool setup.

I'm thinking of jumping on one of these. Would be awesome if there were options like USB charging or some overhangs like some of the CVT/Tepui/Etc. But for this price it can't be beat. Yes, while they may be made in the same factories, keep in mind a lot of the companies here in the states can request specific items like overhangs, thicker material, storage, charging, etc. So they are not all the same.

I won’t offer a USB charger for a number of reasons, Plus the vehicle it’s mounted to likely has the ability to charge USB accessories better anyways.

Not sure what overhang your talking about, you’ll have to share a picture.

Anyone can request whatever they want, its not limited to certain companies

Did you guys spray your tents with water like the other manufacturers recommend?

We did not. I didn't catch that recommendation. What is the train of thought for doing that?

Can you provide a pic of your rubber sheeting solution? I am having spacing issues as well. Thanks!

I haven't actually made a solution yet. I'm a procrastinator lol and no camping trips have come up that I've been able to make. You running cab and shell prinsus?

Yes cab and shell prinsus. I have not been able to come up with a good solution thus far. Let me know if and when you do get around to it.

Honestly my plan is just to get some wood, or maybe aluminum and have it cut about the exact same size as the prinsu cross bars. Then buy longer bolts for the tent brackets. I'll also buy a couple more brackets so that I can put some support towards the middle instead of just having 2 mounting points

What was recommended on my old cvt when I bought it. It said there's a bunch of tiny holes made when sewing, and by spraying with water it causes the threads to swell and become more water tight.

Many tents come with poly-cotton blended materials and the water will cause the cotton to change shape and shrink those holes as well as tighten up panels. I’d consider a nikwax and permethrin treatment to the outside as well.

Interesting, I’ll be honest I’m not sure it’s recommended but it seems worth a try. I know it never hurts to use a seam sealer (paste kind) on key areas that are sewn
