Ah, id just move the rack back and center the tent best as possible. Even if you didn't move it you'd likely still be fine, just use common sense and not put all your weight on the unsupported side all the time

Im assuming you saw these looks like you flip the RTT 180 degrees put it on backwards doesnt stick to fare out on the SB! Long box looks good with tire swingout

I think its just a looks thing, how it tapers off from the cab

 

Might mount mine sideways. Or get two and stack them

 

I dont think it matters but i assume more for look. Maybe so there is less gap acting more like a shell matching with the cab.

 

BUNKTENTS, I could make it layered like a Big Mac and have a double pop. Thats the solution to sleeping more than 2 people in a hardshell tent

 

Aerodynamically you'd get better mpg with it backwards tapering at the rear. Looks better too in my opinion.

I understand how aerodynamics work. But just saying it should isn't science. By that mind set this should get better gas mileage than a stock truck with an empty bed
