Greased the driveshaft zerks, still need to get the UCA zerks but that can wait until after this storm passes.

Also figured Its a good idea that I put up some tape lines to confirm that the fender placement changes will be in line with the wheel this time around

Buddy let me borrow his RTT for the trip since mine won't be here in time. So today I threw that on, had to get some missing hardware and forgot the window poles so I might make some up before I take off. Any one have the length of the window poles from end to end with a picture of the hook side? I vaguely remember what the hook ends look like

Ah you should have stopped by and grabbed the bars on your way so you can take your time getting it all setup how you want. Im excited as fuck.

Got the fridge relocated to the cab, finally put the cover on it since I have a feeling it might be needing it in the UT heat. Most of my shit is laid out to be thrown in the truck ready to go

You mean ks. Probably 4am-ish. It won't be too bad, still get some sleep and be able to wake up at the same time as I would have landed in kc with less sleep

I love this setup! Did you need something special to mount the tent in there? Also, how heavy is the tent? can you load it yourself? I live in Colorado and am about to pick up a Softopper since they're based here. Then I'm getting the rooftop tent. Wondering if I should mount it to the roof of the truck or over the bed. Do you have a specific reason why you mounted it over the bed?

How come you like this better than Softopper? I'm debating between soft and hard. I don't want to have to remove the hard top for a dirt bike etc. Do you mind sharing your opinion of both and why hardtop is better?

MT stuff, RTT stuff, the usual.
next time you come to AZ, let's hit the south rim if you have some time.

Cool spot in the south rim, see post 2-3 or so in my build thread.
    things are sweet.

@ChandlerDOOM what is your flatbed/camper thing looking like price wise? Thing is going to be sweet!

Softopper is awesome for versatility and I thought it looked better. But it's a soft top so it has its downsides. The hardshell makes up for the downsides but removal isn't as easy. But since I travel so much for work, having secure cargo means more to me. Removal isn't bad solo, but it takes more space compared to a softopper so you have to be willing to give up some extra space while it's off

I'll be back around nov/dec, we will have to get together this time around.

Price wise I am a little unsure at this point, the price will come down for larger orders but larger orders will have steeper shipping costs so I won't know until I actually pay for everything and figure out costs

Pretty sure I saw you yesterday afternoon heading West on I-70 about 20 miles West of Manhattan, KS.

I got a little more excited than I probably should have when I saw the truck. Wife was unimpressed...
