Ah, That should not be bad then. I just have 4 Rigid lights that I got for free so trying to find where to place those. My front two are mounted under the front fenders where their used to be a plastic clip for the front bumper. Does great for lighting up the front of the tire and kinda the sides, just not so much for the back of the tire...

Going to see how they perform on the trail this coming weekend though.

Put s switch in the bed for the extra, like do 10 for rocklights and in the same spots put the other 10 or so but on a second switch. Then you have the lights for walking around camp!

Yup, thats what I said above. Extra set will be on its own switch and light pushed more outward for camp vs seeing under the truck. But that part will wait since my bed should be disappearing by august

Use relays and you can switch the lights from two different locations. No need to put lights next to each other that are on separate switches.

    Check out the build
If so add diodes on each input line to the relay. Or get a dual trigger relay.

In cab controls are run off a spod, plus my thinking is I can have the "camp" lights pointed out more for better light coverage vs seeing whats actually around the tires, and underneath

But again who knows lol. You think I could even add a switch to the spod with the Relays that are already in place?

Why not? If you went from the switch in the bed to a relay and piggbacked the output of the relay to the lights, it should not back feed into the Spod. And vice versa

One day Spod may actually have a Bluetooth module for Android. Then no more need for extra switches.

Got my lights in today. The led strip is much longer than I had thought and I purchased two battery boxes instead of one so I think I'm going to split the strip so I have two sets for the next tent coming.

Also hooked up one of those "eagle eye" leds and the light coverage looks pretty good, I dont think I'll be using all 20 for the truck so I'll have some left overs in case some get broke/burnt out

I used some of my leftover rock lights for lighting the inside of the topper and have quite a few leftover for any other random uses.
