Well.... I love that color combo....

May be a weird request but any chance you could get a picture of it collapsed and on the front rack, so I could see how far it extends back and such? That is where I would end up putting one if I were to purchase.

Excellent.... looks pretty nice, should work pretty well if you push it back more so that some of it is on the shell as well. I like it a lot. Color combo is nice, also looks like it would be a great spot to mount a solar panel on top as well.

    Thanks for the pictures!

Yeah I think I have my head wrapped around most of it now. Price I am still working on, I aim to be cheaper than the cheapest hardshell tent which comes in at 2100 iirc, but I want to be more in line with the price point of soft shell tents. If I can't offer an affordable price I won't bother, I'm not in the market of ripping people off

    I like your style.

Less than $2,000 would be pretty nice for what that looks like!

Check my build thread...too much to list.
I like it, sadly it looks like my family would outgrow this quickly. You got dimensions for the inside yet?

Dude I don't have any interest in owning a soft-shell RTT again, even as a second tent, its that much better. Its laughable how easy and simple it is

Its big enough for two people, One of the downsides to a hardshell. I can have them made bigger but it only gets wider unfortunately. Kids can sleep in a ground tent, its good for them

Like you know, ill be in AZ late in the year if you wanna check one out

After the forth I'm going to try and get some numbers together for a group buy of sorts. Gotta figure min number of tents, shipping costs, customs, ect.

4 adults? yeah wouldn't work unless everyone is a dwarf, one of the downsides to a hardshell. But with 4 people means 3 extra set of hands to help set up a soft-shell RTT

I was never a fan of hardshells till I tried one. The only downfall they have is you are pretty much limited to 2-3 people. Big families dont work well. Other than that they are awesome. Setup and take down is so fast. They seem to store bedding better than softshells too. The best thing is they don't flap in the wind as bad.

    Some more pictures!

So I timed myself for shits and giggles, because ease of use is what ultimately turned me away from a soft-shell RTT. 1:30 set up/2:45 tear down, not bad for never using one before and most of that time is walking around the truck.

The ladder is a style I've never seen with a RTT, its more of a traditional extension ladder you would use at home, but its solid and doesn't feel like it might bend it half one day like others.

Install was like any other tent, the mounting rails seem more sturdy imo. They even had a ratcheting 13mm wrench included, that really surprised me because a ratcheting wrench is key for install

Interior is all felt lined, light tan color. Large net above, 2 large hand down organizers, and two hooks for hanging stuff. mattress is like any other RTT, sleeps two but thats it.

Build quality is good, same fabric as every other RTT. All zippers have waterproof seams like you would see on a dry bag

Opening up consists of 4 latches and 4 buckles, one buckle and one latch on each corner. Simply unlatch everything and give one side a push up and push of the other side and it pops into place. Hang the ladder up and thats it. Tear down is reverse but you have to luck a minimal amount of fabric in.

Like I said in my last response, I am going to get numbers to together and see if I can get a group buy going for everyone.
