Pushing through foliage seems like better than half of our trails out here where we are.

same.. dont shy away from squeezing through tight trails it at all, but when the overhang is attempting to rip shit off the rack and jeopardizing the tent. we called it. it only got worse ahead as well.

I hear ya. I have to be mindful of the FlipPac lid as we have some seriously thick low overhanging limbs around here.

Yeah the Prinsu rack, my A pillars, and roof line all got some nice new marks from the low hanging branches. We were running along the river, so the brush was very thick and green. 2-3" diameter branches. had to do some trail clearing ahead in a few spots. always fun, but yeah, not when it gets that tight and you start breaking stuff.

I voted both so if you add them together does that mean I win?

Front diff does not count. The race is still on to see if CV or TRE goes first.

Thanks man, glad I got to see you truck even it was only passing by.

I guess I should update that I am back home, truck did well on the trip back and averaged 15mpg all the way until missouri (wind was really bad and lots of hills on 44) I did notice one thing about about the work done that I didn't like, you can see in the picture how they got the dust cap off. So now its partially open allowing water/salt to get in so that will have to be replaced since my wheel bearings need any help they can get on survival

Had seen you the same day, just didn't click that it was you until you had texted me later. Next time you're out let's do something for sure.

What gearing are you running with tires that big? Need to eventually regear mine.

Yeah I wasn't sure if it was you because of the front bumper, i knew you had the rear but not the front. I might be back in summer if not next winter like always.

4:88, low as it gets for the front axle unfortunately. On the highway its geared to where I would like it and wish it were a little less but I'm at the point where I'm just running out of power to move myself up taller hills

I have a dust cap like that (not as bad tho)but was lazy and just used some silicone to plug it.

Yeah that was my initial finding online so I'm guessing it wont be far off at the local dealer plus its just a dust cap
