I think it looks great and I like it. Do you have to carry the ladder separate? Or does it have a place when you close it up?

    Thanks

It has its own bag and meant to be throw back inside the tent, the bag is to keep your sleeping area clean.

Yeah it would be perfect for the top of a 4runner or FJ, I'm gonna get it up on top of my buddies 5th gen soon so I can grab some pictures. Wish I had my 3rd gen still and I would get you some pictures of what it would look like

That's a good question, I meant to weigh the truck before and after the tent but forgot to. Was too excited to finally see what the hardshell tent was all about. I put it on solo so it can't be too heavy, it's large and awkward that's for sure

Check my build thread...too much to list.
Well my kids are tiny still so a ground tent won't do. If I could get the inside dimensions I could figure out how long we could fit in there. Plus we're Asian so two people really is like 4 lol.

Rock lights installed, fuck doing that twice. Next time I'll just spend the extra money on pre wired stuff or lights with wire bigger than 22 guage

Sure, I'll stand around drinking beer while occasionally pointing a finger in a general place of where something might be but probably isn't :D

Tuned the lights on when I got home from watching baby driver (good movie btw) and coverage looks good, might redo some of the wiring to tidy it up a little better around the frame rails and in the engine bay

Hitting a road block with the tent logistics. So I am having a hard time coming up with decent quotes for shipping a tent, so if any one has some tips it would be greatly appreciated. Here or PM is fine

For reference I am getting quotes in the range of $600 for a shipment to California.

At that point I would seriously consider taking care of each delivery myself

The Mississippi River might the issue as it's the zone border for allot of carriers. Try seeing what kind of pricing to ship from the St. Louis side for anything going west as I expect it might be less expensive.

Canopy is done and powder coated, bed is finished and being coated today.

Should have hardshell tent group buy info ready by end of week

And I'm off to Ozark NF for the night and tomorrow for some exploring and get this tent some use
