Does anyone know how much movement you should have in your carrier bearing? Also any sure way of seeing if your front wheel bearing is going bad? I get this odd vibe in the front end when cornering kind of noisy, not sure if its my tires or wheel bearing. I could throw my stock wheels on but would rather not if I don't have to

Carrier bearing has some play, maybe like a 1/4"-1/2" cause it's surrounded by a rubber bushing, is that torn at all?

Jack up the truck and wiggle wheel at the 12/6 o'clock position, should be no play if the wheel bearing is good. You can also rotate the wheel and see if you get any noise like a groaning/gritty, if so it could be bad.

Sounds like a bad wheel bearing though if the side receiving the load from cornering is noisy.

No tears on the CB but has some play, I was messing with it while I was under the truck spraying the fluid film and wasn't sure. Ill try that method for the bearing, I'm nearing 60k so chances are I need to replace them anyways especially since its been on 33s since 13k and 35s since 38k

Also just paid for my share of the Shok sound deadener, I was on the fence about it because its one of those comfort items. But after driving in the wind for 2 hours barely being able to hear anything I said fuck it, hopefully it helps

Last time (a week ago) I checked ICON coilovers were't covered. Interesting to know that the hydro bumps are.

It's unfortunate that you haven't received a response from ICON. They were very prompt and great to deal with when I had to send in one my rear shocks for a warranty. I'd also be curious to see the discoloration you are referring to on the shocks themselves.

Fuck no what a pain in the dick, seriously took forever trying to get those rivets out. I got the driver side bump plate off but couldn't get the bottom rivets punched out since their isn't much room to work with. The top ones I drilled through and gave it a whack or two and they popped out

I think my best bet is to flex out the rear so I can get my drill under
