If you're looking at an A/T tire, I just got the Toyo's. First test in snow today and super impressed. Quiet on road. Becoming my favorite tire so far, depends on tread wear and I don't see that being an issue. I'm comparing these to duratracs and nitto's I've run previously and blows them out of the water so far. Cooper's I've run on a Silverado I had and loved those as well, very close 2nd.

Just be sure to torque that 35mm nut to 173 ft/lbs

Good looking out, I haven't checked any of the torque specs yet. Sounds like ill need to rent a bigger torque wrench as mine only goes to 150

The 35mm nut is the most important part to torque on the job. You can rent a torque wrench from Advance Auto/Auto Zone ect. If you under/over torque it, the bearing will wear quickly.

Posting this here since someone may have some input. So I've been thinking of the absence of my rear flares, hate it. Scratches and love marks don't bother me but missing trim pieces does, just looks neglected. So I even started a thread looking for bolt on flares to give me some motivation/ideas and I think I've come up with a practical solution that will suit me. So I hate the clips that always break, and the noise that the flares make since the clips have wiggle room with them being cut. So really the only option is bushwackers or bolt on factory flares. But I honestly can't stand the exposed bolts, reminds of those stick on vents from vatozone.

So my plan is to remove all the clip mounts (pictured) and run a bolt through them and fiber glass the mounts back on so its worth while. The bolt head will be against the flare and go in towards the truck and have a nut on the back side, Only downside is I won't be able to secure the bolt head while tightening but after doing my track mounts I was able to tighten the tracks down without having to keep the bolt head from spinning. Another issue is I'm missing some of my mounts, so I will have to make about 4 of my own. Im thinking small square abs tube cut down will be able to mimic the factory mount

Hopefully ill be able to have factory bolt on flares without bolt heads exposed, basically you'll never know that they are bolted on and looks factory, besides the numerous cutting

She actually doesn't mind when I buy parts, she understands it's a hobby that I'll likely never outgrow if it's not one car it's another. its me that I'm concerned with, I really won't like spending that much while I'm not working and since my overtime varies so my id rather make the buy when I know I can replenish the funds in a month or so

1500 and she's yours, only slept in no more than 10 times and only been on the truck for 8ish weeks at most. Basically brand new. Fenders and flares I need haha

Lol I read of as for, I was like this dudes gonna want my bedsides next  I just trimmed 2" around, I wanted to keep it minimal without cutting more than I have to. I rub the fenders every now and then but usually just near the bottom by the cab, where people with 33s. If I were you I would follow others and keep the tab locations so you have the chance to retrofit your flares, I wish I would have and even if you never do it the tabs folded back won't hurt anything.

Welcome to the big leagues

I was concentrating so hard on cutting a nice line, I totally forgot to leave tabs on the sheetmetal fender. I remembered after all four fenders were cut. Doh! That would have made it a lot easier to fasten fender liners too.

Some people leave tabs on their sheetmetal fender when they trim. Check out Laodog's fender trimming. He left tabs iirc. Then the tabs are bent in toward the inside and you can use them to attach whatever.

I didn't, and I had to rivet my fender liners to the sheetmetal.

sub'd! Love the color and rim color combo. Probably what I'll do with mine. And the Pelfreybilt bumper looks great
