Damn thats in depth, guess Ill have to prepare to do that since were about the same mileage. Its weird that he notes to check the amount of fluid that comes out so you know how much to put back in, I would think if you have an auto you would just need x amount of fluid

I think its just a verification and keeps you from way overfilling it on initial start up again.
    Theres still an overflow bolt.

    This ^^

I didn't measure what came out. For my understanding of the write up you purposely over fill, cycle it and bring to correct temps, then the truck itself dispenses the extra fluid. It said over flow check complete when the fluid becomes a light trickle out of the over flow hole. So that's what I did. I put in 5 quarts originally and it dispensed about 1/2 a quart back out. I'll for sure be watching how the truck acts but as of now everything is smooth.

Spark plugs done, all looked good except 2. May have got some water or dirt, looked clean except the threads on the plugs. Put my fog light covers back on, and took apart the one that had condensation. Pretty neat how its put together, I figured some sort of sealant but it uses a rubber gasket and the glass sits in the groove, the frame just keeps the glass in place it seems. Im wondering if I could swap out the insides for the DOT version glass and reflector bowl thingys

Met some cool dudes today at @Palehorse1 place with a nice area to work on the trucks, @Sacrifice Cleared for 35s and @HIYota Installed his comeup winch from the group buy that I should have taken part of. Me and GT just gave a helping hand but it was a good time and hopefully this continues. Some pictures from today and some from the other day.

Also I've read from multiple different people that ARB D rings do not work with the factor55 thimble so I decided to check for myself since I have a ARB recovery kit with 2 D rings, I wanted to see if I needed to swap them out with ones that will work with the thimble but they worked just fine.

Was just thinking, i might have a little more clearance at the pinch weld area than we saw today. Since your wheels are 3.5bs and with spacers ill be at 4. Just means ill rub elsewhere though

It will be slightly different but not much since we will only be .5" off. I think for the most part you'll have it done but like I said soon as you go out you'll rub something and just be ready to get the hammer out

Cool, thats probably what ill get then.

Good guess on my part, just couldnt remember the name. Dont really understand why everyone has stopped making the flip kits for some reason. They do seem to work well with dakars from some of the other guys postings.

I have the SOS Concepts flip kit along with their extended/adjustable/greaseable shackles. Great setup that i would look at also if you are in the market.

Zero, I only rub very slightly in the rears. Flares have to be trimmed, but rears are dependent on your suspension
