Flares are lookin solid! Are you running spacers in the gap between the flare and fender? or just being careful how far you torque the bolts down to avoid bowing? I'll be working on mine here soon.

I planned on it but I'm using nylock nuts and just got them where I wanted and with hopes that the nylock a will keep them where I want without having to worry about spacers. I may end up doing it later but for now this looks promising without making the flares wavey

Just wait until you make the jump, you'll be hitting all sorts of shit haha

Roger! I'm sure that's more than enough, plus it saves a few bucks. Hardware adds up quick. Thanks man

Figured dremel.. thats what i used for my flares now was just seeing if there was any other method..they look great hoping to tackle mine soon.. main reason for my switch is the bolts. i like the idea of being able to bolt them in and not worrying about them flying off

Yeah I bought all my hardware on eBay since it was pretty cheap

For my factory flares I used a Dremel sawmax, but since I'm pretty much limited to the power outlet in the bed I just used the Dremel. Yeah I was always worrying about my flares epically when it got windy, I had one nearly fall off and probably would have if my fiancé wasn't following me in her car

The truck runs the lower end Dremel pretty well, the sawmax was for my bedsides.

I think I have before, but could never tell if they were just dirty. Grab some degreaser and soak and scrub them before washing the truck and that should help you out

Trimmed the rear flares today and threw on a coat of plastidip for the time being to make them look a little nicer. Attached my e brake brackets to the leafs again, I remember I meant to do it a long time ago and I remembered why I didn't when I was drilling out the holes a little for the bolt. Last time I tried I didnt have gloves on and ripped my nail off when the bit grabbed the hole and torqued it over throwing my hand into the drill bit, lesson learned. This time I wore gloves and even used channel locks to hold the bracket lol.

Also measured some stuff, I guess the rear seat molle panel should be shipping soon so I can start to plan out my panel usage and dual battery stuff. Im thinking of relocating the SPOD and compressor to the panel so it's all out of the elements. Really just need to buy the ACR and wire to get started atleast and add solar once I get caught up with work

Alright so I started getting some stuff together for this weekend, tomorrow my "molle panel" comes in the mail so rear seats will be gone and the platform back inside the truck with the panel. Ill be using my pelfreybilt cage to hold the battery down on the platform or against the panel (not sure yet but will likely have a temp solution) Then I can measure for wire and either Wednesday or Thursday head over to west marine to have wire cut. If I don't get that done this week it wont be the end of the world just wont have lights or air.

Last time we ran the trails some tree limbs were low hanging and getting caught up in my rack and @Sacrifice RTT was tall as you probably want so I figured RTT on top of topper would be asking for trouble so I pulled my topper. I had to get a little creative since all I have is a storage unit with somewhat low doors but I got it off by myself. Truck looks a little different, just trying to look like @northwesttaco
