Yeah I just bought the cheapest gun from lowes, the grease went in fine and went until it was firm. But the grease should exit somewhere correct? usually it just comes out the side somewhere

That's correct, but it builds up pressure inside and will push the bushings out just like you have pictured. I just witnessed this a few months back. I relieved some of the pressure and watched them go back to normal size while I was releasing the pressure.

Okay so using the prick on the zero relieves the pressure

Yeah just push the ball in on the zerk fitting and it will relieve the pressure and let the excess grease back out. I was able to see the bushings go back to normal as the pressure was bleeding off.

Just went and relieved all 4, I have excess come out but no change in the bushing. Like I said I'm not sure if it just happened or has been that way. I just happened to notice it now, thanks for the tip though. If I had any plans on staying stock length id buy those billet UCAs from you

The dirt King kit is probably the best bang for your buck kit out right now. I'm actually a dirt King vendor

I vote grab some new UCA bushings and bring it to the shop where everything can be broken down in the shade. Oh, and buy your wife a Land Cruiser. That too.

Eh I'm just gonna throw the factory ones tomorrow, I need to just get it done. Plus I never have an issue with the factory ones, just bought these thinking I would need them for 35s.

Haha I wish I could right now, she's taken a liking to the truck. So if any LC is in my future it will be a 80 with 40s :D
In the future she might drive a 200 but I think she still wants a Panamera, hopefully I can talk her into a turbo S when the time comes

Well UCA's is for the lift, not to clear 35's.. More lift you have the more strain on the ball joint, its bound to pop loose at some point.

Keep an eye on those ball joints then.

I bought my wife a new 4Runner for her birthday - May 22nd - and the delivery got stalled by the earthquakes in Japan. It's still not here.

Now, as to your new TLC, you want me to start keepin an eye out and forwarding listings?

I ran the factory UCAs all throughout 33s and partially with 35s, Im sure it will be fine. Bummer about the build being pushed back, hopefully not much longer.

    Thanks man!

Got the UCAs swapped out, I think it took longer to get the tools out then to swap them. Maybe 15-20mins at most for each side, pretty happy about that.

So I was hoping I would have a possibility of taking them off and fix the bushings and re install. But the bushings are warped pretty bad so they will def need to be swapped out. So I placed an order for new bushings from allpoo, which kind of sucks because I really don't want to spend any money on these.

See that's the problem, what I want is SAS. But is it really worth the effort and expense when I could put that money towards a second rig or a fun car. But when I think of LT I'm deciding between +2 or 3.5, the price is about the same but one is better. So many choices...
