    FTFY ;)

Hopefully the overtime keeps coming in for me, I'm pretty far off from having SAS money right now. Thankfully bike parts are pretty cheap, Really just want an exhaust since the bike sounds like a moped :anonymous:

I wanted a miata for a long time (still do) but its a little awkward at my size plus I still want to ls swap a e36

haha should have just asked you to being with. I might have to measure my wire, its 0guage with a decent size shielding over it. So .5 might be a tight fit

Well yea I need that too. I literally haven't touched the axle yet other than moving it.

    Definitely need an exhaust!

I wouldn't be surprised if I LS swap the miata down the road (assuming I get one). Id go for an e30/36 for sure.

So yesterday was awesome, first I locked my keys in my other car when I got to work. After work I had to break into it with what I could find around me which sucked and scratched the shit out of the paint around the window. So I get home and noticed I received my plate for the bike in the mail, went outside to put it on real quick but had to run back inside to grab the tool I forgot. Well leaving the second time I left my keys on the table and locked myself outside of my apartment complex without my wallet or phone :frusty: So I got to sit around until either someone left or going inside and that was about an hour.

Soon as I get inside my phone is ringing, The track buckled in several places so I had to head back to work. Didn't get done until midnight and still needed to be up by 4am for work today :bananadead: Well since it was so many places it buckled they want us to work tomorrow to destress more track that might be a problem. So no free weekend for me, but today after work I decided to get a jump on the list of shit to do

Officially dual battery now, only missing the remote switch. I ended up running the negative cable down under and through the seat storage area and follows on the bottom of the transmission tunnel underneath the carpet to a factory ground on the side of the inverter. The power wire runs along the edge trim pieces from the front to the rear. The idea was to have everything completely hidden and unnoticeable. Huge shout out to @Nate87 for leading the way and guidance through PMs, I only followed him.

Tomorrow after work I plan to have the spod mounted neatly and have the remote switch wired up. Re wiring everything can wait as I will need more wire to tackle everything anyways.

Setup is looking great buddy. What causes the tracks to do that?

    Thanks!

To keep it simple heat causes it, rail expands and contracts with temperature. Too much rail with heat and the track buckles and not enough rail with cold the track will break depending on the temperature. So in this case, the track has too much rail and the temperature is too hot. Normally the rail would be able to expand and contract without issue if installed at "target neutral temperature" or pulled to account for temperature difference. Lots of variables and not much I can do about it but go out and fix it when it happens.

This past week and the following 5 weeks we have been "destressing" the rail so this wont happen and throughout 60 miles of track we will take out about 24ft of rail, thats a pretty good chunk especially when the track will be the same length even with 24ft taken out. Its pretty cool sometimes when you cut a 4 inch gap in the rail and it will grow back together almost instantly when you have too much rail

I'm glad it all finally came together for you! Having dual batteries may seem excessive to most but you'll be surprised how much they come in handy. You can run all non factory accessories off it and never worry whether or not the truck will start the next morning. It's gotten me, but mostly others, out of some shitty situations.

As for all the hiccups along the way, they sure as hell make you appreciate the final product that much more!

    @ChandlerDOOM

Hey bud, so I got rear-ended on Saturday and the idiot pushed my bumper a hair forward. Nothing like this, but question for you. Did you loosen both sides..?

I think I can just loosen the bolts on the passenger side and with a 2" x 4" leverage it, and move it back. Any pointers you can give me...? Where did you source the new bolts...?

Just loosen the bolts on both sides and it should fall back into place. No new bolts were needed

Well had an unfortunate mishap this morning. I remember driving 5 mins prior through a town and not even a 1/4 mile from work I woke up going into a steep ditch, just kept going straight around a curve at 55-60mph. Ended up rolling the car and did some serious damage. All is well health wise, only a few staples on the head and plenty of bumps and bruises.

Nearly drove the truck this morning since the wife was going to make a quick trip to her parents and would have made more sense to just drive 120miles in the truck myself vs her driving 340miles at 12mpg. Glad I decided on her taking the truck anyways since she prefers it over the honda

Now to find another DD, any suggestions welcome
