Alright so its official, Ill be out west starting the beginning of Dec.

Plan in to stop in CO see what I can wheel, Kokopelli trail into Moab, moab will be whatever I can wheel in a couple day span, Hit of some hiking around the UT/AZ border area, maybe death valley if, and eventually AZ and wheel a bunch there before taking off the 23rd.

SO if anyone plans to be in any of those areas and wants to meet up let me know, now I get to make sure the truck is 100% and figured out a pretty good route or ill just wing it like usual

Trust me I wish I could but thats easily $500 in gas one way not including getting around everywhere, but don't worry I'm working on trying to get out there for work next year

Hopefully not break everything but only one way to find out, A trail in AZ I've wheeled on 33s and 35s so it will be cool to see what its like on 37 since the difference just being on 35s was crazy

Fuck yeah, ill shoot you a PM

So my original plan was to be in AZ the week prior to the 23rd and head back home to be with her family for christmas, but that didn't leave me much time to get out and wheel especially anything on the way like Moab. I really didn't want to leave before hand and have to drive all the way back to pick her up and drive back 24hrs, so I asked if she was cool with flying out and ill just drive by myself so I can spend more time doing fun stuff. So I found her a flight for $20 and now I get to spend 2-3 weeks of exploring/camping/wheeling/hiking and she's happy that she doesn't have to sit in the truck for 24hrs having to drive some of it

    Really excited right now

Went over to @G.T. place to clean the frame and the fluid film treatment, still have to get a fresh coat on the sliders and I'll be good to go for the winter roads. Also got some ideas going for this winter trip in regards to my lack of a RTT and camping up to 15-20 days in a row in the winter

It's nice, being able to use cruise on the highway in D says a whole lot. I noticed transmission temps are about 20deg lower all around. Gas mileage is probably a wash, I never paid real good attention before because it was always shit but I'm going maybe 20-30 more miles before the light comes on then before. I drove home last night from GT which is a 70/30 mix and averaged 17.4 on the way back but I also set the cruise at 60 lol but getting anything over 12mpg on the highway was difficult for me before

I'm hoping after a slightly larger tire that my mileage will increase some keeping the revs lower

Well I did nothing to the truck today that I should have done, or the planning that I need to get done. I got sidetracked and went for a bike ride with a buddy who didn't have work, so he asked if I wanted to swing by gateway to test ride a bike I mentioned to him a while ago. So we each test rode a bike mine being a 14 S1000R, I wasn't too sure on the bike but after riding it changed my mind. Worlds better compared to my bike in terms of handling with electronically controlled dampening suspension and different levels for responsiveness, and the brakes are beast.

Might have a new bike if the numbers add up

Thanks for thinking of me. But sadly I want to waste more money on the Titanium model when the time comes for an exhaust

CO front range is supposed to get a little snow tomorrow, but it'll probably be a dusting. Then the same thing on Tuesday. There's not much for snow right now.
