I have a 2019 TRD sport and wanting brighter lights. I love the sequential lights. I am not paying $1500 for the Moriomoto headlights even though they are cool. Has anyone replaced the stock lights with LEDs and if so what did you go with? I have seen the sequential headlights for about the price of just high beam LEDs. Trying to get some thoughts. Anyone have the sequential lights for sale? Thanks.

There’s a huge lighting thread stickied that has more info than you could ever want. Despite what some will tell you, if you put LEDs in a halogen housing you’re gonna have a bad time. They will illuminate very well immediately in front of your truck, but because the reflector isn’t designed for them, you lose all your throw since the light is scattering instead of being correctly focused. This isn’t a problem (For you. Other drivers absolutely will have a problem and not being flashed when you have LED bulbs, doesn’t mean that they don’t hate your guts) if you drive in the city at slower speeds, but if you have any dark highways that you have to travel, you will notice immediately because your truck will be out running your lights.
If you haven’t already, look up the h9>h11 conversion. Basically you put the bulbs from your brights in your low beams.
It’s as simple as a mod quick of the bulb and pulling a piece of green plastic out of your wiring harness. Philips H9s are like $9 apiece and that alone is a huge upgrade

Thanks for the reply. I will look for that post. What about the fog lights? Which of those do they take?
