As you can see from the photo, Maps is in the larger window and Music and Favorite Locations are in smaller windows. How can I switch these around and make Music occupy the larger window? I could do this with my 3rd Gen Tacoma but cannot figure out how to do it with my 24 Pro.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

On Android Auto, I can just tap them. Whichever pane I tap becomes the main window and the other 1 or 2 take the right hand positions. I do this all the time when I need to hit a secondary music control, then toggle back to the larger map.

I think all this stuff is based on “algorithms” and what you usually use most at a given time, that way it gives you what you “want.” Technology is getting too smart.
Either that or maybe CarPlay does more of a focus on maps now. mine looks like yours (as far as proportions are concerned) 99% of the time

There isn't a way to set that within the Toyota settings. However, if you are on Android Auto you can set either navigation or music closer to the driver. Here is how:

With Android Auto paired and connected at the top level, tap on the red circled app drawer icon:

Within the app drawer tap on Settings:

Within Settings tap on Change Layout:

    Change to desired setting:

I have no idea what happens within Apple Carplay. Maybe someone can chime in.

Thank you for the detailed reply! I have CarPlay unfortunately.
