No money, all went to truck...
So I decided to change tranny fluid. I prepared well, got the fluid, the socket, the fluid pump. Cracked the fill bolt, drained the fluid. (Seemed like less than 2 quarts came out but it had to have drained properly)

Replaced the drain plug, then started to fill the tranny. Here's where I ran into trouble. The pump was defective, fluid started leaking out the top of the pump. PIECE OF SHIZZZ. Now, this is 3 pm on Sunday. Nothings open that carries a fluid pump that I need. Here I am trying to jimmy the pump because I am SOL if I don't get the fluid back in.

So I dump out my kids suave shampoo, rinse our the shampoo and use that. Luckily it worked. BUT, have you ever tried to pump 2 quarts of fluid through a shampoo bottle? Took forever. Forever. Anyway a 30 minute job turned into a 2+ hour job. All because of a stupid defective pump.

Anyway the redline fluid is NIGHT AND DAY. It feels so much smoother. Like butter is in there. Holy smokes.

Nice, glad you got it working!
Just flushed my automatic tranny with Toyota WS, and immediately the 2nd to 1st downshift felt smoother.
I also know how you feel about the pump. Mine did not break, but I ordered the wrong size. The screw top was meant for a differential fluid bottle, which is not large enough for the tranny fluid bottle. Still made it work, but had to hold them together.
