Changed out my cheese grater grill.

Found me an SR grill on Craigslist for $40. In my opinion, the base model grill looks better than any other factory Tacoma grill. The cheese grater looking Offroad grill gonna be garage decor, next to the Pro grill.

Yeah, I actually agree with you on this one! You got the SR grill without the chrome trim, which does look great. It is also actually easier to clean the grill when you wash the truck, as opposed to either the chicken wire stock grill or the Pro grill too. If I had seen the SR grill before I bought my TRD Pro grill, I probably would have bought one instead of the Pro grill. Good job!

I was looking to get a Pro grille for my SR but now I'm thinking not? I do like the T-O-Y-O-T-A nameplate better than the Toyo logo.

I’ve been looking for a SR grille to replace my cheese grater which I hate. PITA to clean and hate the chrome surround. some of the sport grilles look pretty good too.

 

In fairness, I think the cheese grater descriptor only applies to the '16-17 Tacomas. 2018 and above OR/Sports have variations of the waffle grille. That said, the SR grille is a clean look. It should also mount a front camera easier than the OR grille.
