I’ve dragged guys bigger than me across the floor to a water hose and held them down while I ran water in their eyes and face.
    Not fun.
I hope I never have to do that again..

I have seen mechanics cross jump 24v battery systems with a jump cart, melting the battery terminals off the jump batteries. The vehicle had 3 CAN networks and didn't do any damage to the vehicle or the CAN's. Just melted the terminals off the jump batteries.

Heavy duty diesel powered equipment often uses a 24V system to start the engine, then switches to the 12V vehicle system after the engine is running. Until then the rest of the electrical system is isolated from the 24V source.

How could you get it in the wrong way? I'm colorblind and still did it right. That's gonna be painful at the dealer.

Shit happens, he probably wasn't pay attention when doing it and just did it. Thats like asking someone why the hell they rear ended someone. Shit happens dude, get over it. Glad you've never made a mistake in your life.

I'm not going to say anything. I once changed my oil and forgot to put the drain plug back in because I was in a hurry / CRS disease. Cost me 6 quarts of oil and a helluva mess in the driveway which still carries the scar to this day.

Some equipment, yes this is true. The equipment I work with is either 24v or 666v starting (not a typo) then some systems are 12v, 24v, 230v, 480v or 666v. You definitely have to be on your toes working on them. And jumpstarting a 666v system is not an easy task.

The hardest part is getting the candles setup in the right shape and attaching the jumper cables to the goat before you kill it.

Most likely wrong battery to start. If he asked for the correct thing and a counterclown gave him the wrong battery..................

I completely redid the externals on a 2.1L Volvo turbo, new manifold, turbo everything.........and forgot to put the oil drain plug in. New oil cleans up easier than used oil

I completely rebuild ad Datsun L1600 engine, new oil pump wouldn't pump oil

Had a Volvo 850 1996 at the dealer. Asshats started it without oil. SOB was fine for another 100000 miles after that

    Stock... for now.
Well sounds like I got lucky. 140 amp, EFI #2 fuse, radio fuse, Mpx fuse, a/f relay, Fuseable linkage. Also a new battery just in case.
