Those tail lights look stupid. I heard leds, I'm thinking, like the ones on the Caddys. The "smoked" headlights aren't very appealing either.

Any idea what the SR5 interior change is?I have a 07 CrewMax and want to downsize to a 09 DoubleCab Tacoma SR5.I love the 08 Tacoma cloth interior(especially compared to the Tundra's) and if they are going away from the nice cloth and moving towards the Sport 's seat fabric then I may have to look at an 08.Thanks,great forum!

3eb - what package is this going to come in. I just bought a 2008 so I guess I'm SOL but I would be interested in upgrading the stereo for the AUX jack alone. God , I HATE not being able to use my MP3 and being the wuss that I am, haven't bit the bullet and done the mod.

would that be something they could install into a 2008 Tacoma?

    just wondering

Trust me, I shopped at 6 different Toyota dealers in jersey. If you haggled enough with them, they would give them away free.

When all was said and done I paid 16200 for a 5speed, 4x4, no cab.

The younger F&I guy even told me "Look, I don't even care about the price, I just need to move this inventory on these trucks"

    Just the basics
I drive by a dealer every day on my way to work. Sometimes I get off the fwy to see what they have. None of their stock is moving. Always the same trucks. Even though the taco is mpg friendly in the truck market the current fuel prices are impeading sales. I still want a new taco but fuel costs are definately making me think twice.

I traded in a 99 Cadillac Eldorado (4.6 V8) for my 08 Tacoma V6 4WD), compared to the caddy, anything is good on gas!

My wife has a '08 Accord sedan with the new 3.5 V6 that cuts to 3 cylinders on economy mode, light acceleration, highway, ect.. The 2 door coupe doesn't cut to 3 and runs on all 6 all the time.

No problems with surging at all and when you want them they are really right there. It runs real well. ;)

All the Acura sales people are mad because you have to buy the S type TL for $7K more to get more HP and as nice of interior as the Honda Accord.

Looks nicer than the older model, but I'd still replace it with my aftermarket unit.
