Smoke headlights, improved LED tail lights...Pending: De-chrome badges and grille, new tires
I have the Radiant Red and the new Barcelona Red looks a little darker. I like the BR better. The only fading I have is on the front bumper. It is definitely not the same color as the rest of the truck and no, I wasn't in an accident.

Hui, where's the Aux input? Any ideas, or do y'all think this is a pic from one of the lesser equipped models?

I'm new to this site, and am very interested in an '09 Tacoma. 05TacoTRD, may I ask where you're getting these photos? Does anyone know when Toyota will update their website to reflect the 2009 Tacoma?

    Thanks

Toyota Canada has the 2009 Tacoma posted. Pictures of the tail lights, audio unit, back up camera etc. are posted. FYI...toyota.ca is a poor website!

I really could have used that backup camera on my '08. Just backed up into a 2' well pipe in a driveway yesterday. (why the well is in a driveway i have no clue) $4100 of repair work to be done. =(

I'm glad they redesigned the rear seats of the AC and good sub placement, but I'm not digging how the head rests flops down on top of the seat backs, Nice angle folded down

Is it true that the 4x4 regular cab SR5 doesn’t have bucket seats anymore?

So the Canadian site says, but I have not seen any US info yet, but it is probably the same. I wonder if there will even be an SR5 trim on RC's, since the A/C, and rear slider is a seperate pkg now for 09; all the pkg would consist of is minor trim items. Many could live without buckets if Toyota would at least offer again the split bench.

After seeing the pics of the 09 I gotta say I'm a little disappointed. I was thinking "Man I want to swap out my headlights and taillights" on my 05 if they will fit, but after seeing the pics, no thanks. The smoked headlights look barely smoked at all. And the tails look like a cheap aftermarket design. I see Toyota didn't exactly integrate the mp3 output into the radio, so I guess I won't be able to get a used one from someone that goes with an aftermarket head unit to swap into my truck.....booo. I would have liked the option of heated, leather, power seats, but other wise I don't see that much on the 09 that I wish my 05 had.....I do like the darker grey/charcoal type color.

Oh very nice access cab redesign, I think I will buy a pair of these jump seats if it is compatible to change for my 08 tacoma, these new seats are now more comfortable, i think there is no problem to fit on my 08.

I don’t see any mention of regular cabs on the Canadian web site. And the timberland mica truck is a 4x4 (or Prerunner) regular cab SR5. Anyway maybe 05TacoTRD took a peak inside. In my experience bench seats suck.

Any idea if the Tacoma will have the power rear window like the Tundras and 4Runners?

The timberland mica truck does look to be an SR5 per the outside trim, but it appears to have the bench seat, as you can see the mini head restraint inboard of the passenger backrest. With buckets the trim panel above the carpet on the cab back panel under the rear window would be visible.

That’s what I thought also when I saw the picture. Glad I didn’t wait until the 09. I think the bucket seats are key to a good driving experience.
