At the Chevy dealer I work at, we have an employee with a 2006 TRD Sport with mechanical LSD. When we serviced his rear diff, we used standard 80w90 gear oil with GM limited slip additive and several years have passed with no issues.

I stuck my finger inside and it was close so I just added another half and started to come out. Then closed it up let it sit for a minute and topped it off will see how it works out...

Should be 3.12 so add 3 then 100ml more from the other bottle. On the side it goes by ml so just eye it.

Most people with your year model and LSD put dino oil and add the LSD additive

Well I hope you do get a straight reply, but do you have your user manual? That's how I figured out which is best for my rear differential.

I was looking at that at Canadian tire wondering the same.

Decided for the most part to get Redline 75W-90 gear oil with LSD addictive for front diff and rear LSD diff and Redline MT-90 for transfer case and manual transmission.

Yes, that will work great, I used Mobil 1 75w90 on both Diffs, and Transfer Case, she runs great. It's about as clear as mud trying to figure out with oil to use, but that Royal Purple 75w90 will be perfect, the other option is you can stop a Toyota Stealership, and buy the very same oil filled at production of your truck from the parts guy, that is, if you feel so inclined.

Does front and rear differential and transfer case use the same oil? It's for 2006 4X4 TRD sport.
