I have a 2017 double cab 4x4 with keyed auto lock. I also have the entune radio/nav. I could not find any menus to change the lock options. Maybe it is not possible?

    1. I would like to disable the automatic re-locking. It is really annoying to unlock the car and then it locks again if you don't open it within 60 seconds.

    2. When I turn off the engine it doesn't unlock the rear doors. I have to manually do it.

    3. I would also like to unlock all doors with one click of the remote.

    Thanks in advance!

It's in the center cluster options, not the radio.

Start on page 592 of the owners manual. It is in the Radio screen.

Also, you have to look to see if the option is something you can change or a dealer only item. Another note, is some features are only available on Automatic trans, such as unlock doors when shift to park. If you are not near the truck right now and want to read on it beforehand, you can download a pdf of the manual from Toyotas website. Hope this helps.

Ahh that's it... the vehicle menu is disabled. That's a bummer, I wonder why. Maybe because its a manual trans. Thanks for the replies anyway.

Do you have the engine running?

Beat me too it! I have the 4 door MT and had to change mine for kiddo safety. Took me a bit to figure it, but doable. See this forum is full of good info!

Engine must be running. You must be at a complete stop.

Look in the back of the manual, for the 10 or so options you CAN change on the HU, there's about 100 more that your dealer can change on a Techstream. Lots of very useful tweaks can be made. Or buy the cheap cable on Amazon and do it yourself.

My settings are set up to auto relock but I've tested it and my doors never auto relock like if I forget to lock the truck when I get out at home. Now when driving yes they relock but that is a different thing when it locks because being put in gear. Anybody else have this as well where it doesn't auto relock your doors but is suppose to.

Is auto relock when you unlock your vehicle with the remote and if you do not open a door within a given time period, they relock?

I don't really want my truck to lock itself if I don't decide I want it locked.

I was jus asking the community to try see if anybody knew anything. bc mine did work and then it stopped doing it. but I have my tailgate wired to my doors too. I know sometimes I have forgot to lock the doors and it auto locked for me after some time but has stopped doing it.

This is all with the fancier head unit right? My SR doesn’t have an APPS button.

    Pardon my ignorance.

2022 SR. Wasted time reading the manual. Book says key must be “on”. Actually, engine must be running. Otherwise, vehicle setup does not appear under the multimedia menu.
