I just purchased Sylvania SilverStar ULTRA bulbs for my 09 truck. The process was not difficult, but getting my hands in there was tricky (and I have small hands).

I noticed that there is grease on the old bulbs and in the connector. I did not replace/use any grease, just kept what was in the connectors. Should I put something on the new bulbs?

Also, I think that I have the rubber seal replaced correctly; but, is there a way to tell for sure? How far in should the center ring be pushed?

    Thanks.
