I do miss the moonroof. But no regrets, just like you.

Limited to PRO that you did is a much bigger upgrade than my OR to PRO. You went from AARP club to cool club :D

Yeah not having the MOONROOF is the biggest drawback of the Pro. For me I live with it for the time being.

Don't get a pro total waste of money. You can do better with aftermarket for less money

I'll add don't go Pro unless you want the warranty and won't wheel it much. If you're going to wheel a lot then you'll probably find the stock Pro upgrades not to your liking. I'm not saying the Pro isn't capable, but after you add in sliders and real skid plates, plus any possible damage, you'll want to stick with the OR.

Or you just spent your money on what you thought was best. Which is what everyone really should do.

However OP asked the internet for advice. Ask and he shall receive opinion lol.

The Pro gets a decent lift and shocks (same thing in this case)... but after that the rest of the "mods" are mainly for looks. I agree that you can wheel a Pro just fine, especially if you stay in safer spots body damage wise, but if you're going over rocks and anything where you'll need sliders and armor to reasonably escape without body damage... well then maybe the OR is more your ballgame since it'll involve less cash out of pocket total to get there.

If you like the Pro window sticker and look then that's hard to argue against. Looks are subjective, as is price. The one thing that isn't is the factory warranty. It's nice to have that on the Pro if a shock fails or something goes wrong with a part you would have to modify on the Offroad. You can offset that a bit though, in discussion anyways, with the fact that Toyota won't likely cover any impact type damage or failed shocks from force. It's also not that expensive to change a shock yourself. Tomato or Tom-at-to.

    Exactly

If you're going to wheel anything thing you should add armor. You would be stupid not to unless your wheeling consist of dirt roads and mall parking lots. I'll admit I have wheeled mine without any additional armor added but I stay on level 2's until armor is added (which begins this week). A Pro isn't going to be anymore expensive to repair than the OR except for maybe a few parts like the lights.

Is there an echo in here?
