Years ago I made that mistake, going before the other driver committed to his turn and trusting their turn signal. I was in a Datsun B210 (that's how long ago it was) and got t-boned when he didn't turn. Squished my car like a bug. Fortunately I was basically ok, but lesson learned the hard way. To this day I don't move out until a driver with their turn signal commits to their turn. If you trusted turn signals here in FL you'd think all these retirees were going around the world to the left. Bottom line is, this is why they call them accidents. Chit happens we don't intend.

I don't see the turn signal. But anyway I never trust turn signals until I see the other vehicle clearly slowing down to make the turn. Like when you are coming out of a parking lot and the vehicle on right lane has the signal on, they could plan to turn into the same lot you are coming out of, but also into the next lot or they changed lane and the signal didn't cancel itself.

As someone stated earlier, the signal light is a moot subject, turning into oncoming traffic is always gonna get you a ticket if there is an accident
