Changing oil filter on 01 Taco

    Taking off the skids is a good idea, but I generally just put a,"blanket", of paper towels under the filter to catch most of the oil, then once in awhile I`ll
    take the skids off and use Castrol Super Clean/Pressure wash on them.

    2.7L 3RZ,K&N filter, 4" deck plate mod,flowmaster 40 series,3" suspension lift, hybrid 52"chevy/toyota rear springs.
    use a punch and hammer to "ventilate" the old filter lol it makes for a nice solid stream of oil and you can pick where it drains from .... also they make filters that have drains on the bottom and you re-use the filter....spin the housing off, wash the filter element...replace and spin housing back on....they are like $150 but its the last one you ever have to buy (for that truck) i think the one company is called tru-filter
