I will be changing the transmission filter on my 2005 tacoma. It has a 5 speed auto, anything I need to be looking out for?

You might want to download the service manual from It doesn't specifically have a procedure for changing the filter that I saw, but it's covered under changing the valvebody.

BTW, there are some stickies in the 2nd gen section for drain/refill of the auto transmission. Be careful and good luck!
